全国残疾人就业宣传月 (NDEAM) commemorates the many and varied contributions of people with disabilities to America’s workplaces and economy and is organized annually by the US Department of Labor, 残疾人就业政策办公室(ODEP).

To fill this gap, some states require schools to teach about disability history each year.
